Only had the chair for one week and so far all is good has all the points that i was looking for. Very comfy, easy to set up and a great price on sale. Now the bad! Delivery was very very average, sat at the courier depot for three days not a word. I rang cut off, Chat bot two hour wait and comes to the time another two hours added, emailed still nothing. Not the great experience that i normally have with Amazon. I will be talking to Amazon about their preferred carrier. So chair has Five Star, but Delivery a One star, it would have been zero but does not give me that option.

Lumbar support not the best (but can be removed with some rejigging)

I don't think this should be an Amazon's Choice chair. It's, overall, a "reasonable" office chair, but I cannot recommend it for long-term use, solely because of the lumbar support module. It is essentially a piece of plastic with VERY minimal cushioning which pushes through the smooth back mesh, essentially defeating the purpose of the mesh, which is to provide a smooth, elastic, curved contour against your back. You may not feel it at first, but over time, it just feels like there's a piece of plastic digging into your lower back. Yes it's adjustable, but even all the way back it's still felt. If you suffer from back problems, or have to sit for long periods of time, I cannot recommend this chair for the reason that you'll really start to feel the overly-rigid lumbar support after awhile. Other chairs have this lumbar module too, but their cushioning is far better than this version, or don't have it at all, like the Pago Enduro Heavy Duty Ergonomic Chair. Finally, if you think you can just "remove" the lumbar module and just use the back mesh if it's such a problem, nope. It's stuck in there and seemingly impossible to remove without some power tools, like an electric saw.If you're still interested in buying the chair, at least find one in-store pre-assembled to try before you buy. But even then, your back might tolerate the lumbar support in the short-term, but over time it's rigidness may become more apparent.EDIT: you can remove the lumbar support unofficially if you Google it for a video reference, or contact the company to provide instructions. Once the lumbar support is off it was a lot more comfortable.

Exactly as pictured. Heavy solid construction. Easy to assemble despite quite a few parts. Very firm seat so if you prefer soft you may want to pad it with a cushion but firm makes it more supportive for the back. Decent lumbar support that’s adjustable. Head support is nice. Cool mesh. Adjustable tension leaning back. Armrests are comfortable being grooved to sit your arms. I love this chair. Best part was Amazon delivered it in just over 15 hours later for free. Love Amazon!!!

No height adjustment!

I agree with many of the other reviews. The chair is comfortable, professional looking and easy to assemble BUT my complaint is due to the completely non-functional gas lift! I assembled the chair exactly as per the instructions but immediately found the lever which is supposed to adjust the height of the seat did not work (although it does provide the ability to lock the back rest in place).I have contacted the customer support, who provided me with a new chassis for the chair. I found this slightly confusing because I didn't know how that would help, but went along with it. I disassembled the chair but found it was completely impossible to remove the original chassis from the base (they just sort of click together and it's a seemingly irreversible action). Upon informing the SIHOO customer service team about the lack of solution, I have received NO further replies, despite emailing them several times.Fortunately for me, the chair is more or less the right height for me (the seat is 44cm from the floor) - but for anyone who absolutely needs a height adjustable chair, I would choose a different chair.

I’ve recently purchased this and have been using it for over a week now. For someone who works 90% at home, I must say, the chair is well-built and solid. The assembly was straightforward and hassle-free, which is always a plus.The headrest and arm support are commendable, providing good comfort for those long hours at the desk. I did find myself wishing that the armrests could adjust to different angles, as this would add to the overall comfort and flexibility of the chair.However, the chair has started to produce a squeaky sound after a week of use. I’m not sure if this is a common issue or just specific to my unit. It’s not a deal-breaker but can be a little distracting when I'm moving around the chair.If it wasn’t for the squeaky sound, I would have given this chair a full 5-star rating. It’s still a good choice for its price range, but I hope the manufacturer can address the noise issue in future models.

I work approximately 10+ hours from home from Monday to Sunday depending on how crazy work gets. I needed a reliable chair and that is when I ran into ergonomic chairs and found the SIHOO M18 ergonomic chair after a crazy amount of days and hours or searching and reading reviews. Once I received the product and assembled it, I knew it was a good quality chair. It takes around 30-45 minutes to assemble with the tools provided with the product. It has great head rest, lumbar, sitting support. Bought it on October 2023 and provided everything I needed. About a week ago or so, I started noticing the tilt adjustment knob was getting stuck and not actually doing anything to the tilting tension. The back rest became wobbly. It was becoming a problem because I suffer from chronic neck and back pain and was the reason I had bought this product. Forgot to mention that it helped relieve my back and neck pain. I tried tightening the screws, disassembling and assembling the chair again, but nothing worked. My pain was getting worse and was affecting my work so I contacted the companies support group via email through amazon. I explained basically everything that I explained in this review and they requested some videos and pictures to see if they could find a solution. Those pictures and videos were sent. They replied and stated they would send me a new head rest, head rest mount, and new mechanism. I appreciated their quick reply and solution but I wanted to upgrade because I didnt want to experience the same pain again so I told them if I could get a discount to another SIHOO model, product models provided in email, for the same price amount of the replacement parts they were going to send me. They agreed after speaking to their supervisor!!!!! For me it was a surprise! I expected them to not care and just send me the parts they had mentioned. For the first time in my life, a company actually listened to its customer and found a solution that the customer needed! Plus, this was all solved from January 8 to January 12, 20205! They respond in such a quick manner, respectful, and professional! The products have a lifetime warranty and the company actually means it! I recommend the SIHOO M18 ergonomic chair for someone that wants to game comfortably or works in an office or from home at least 6-8hours a day. It is comfortable, sturdy, well made, tilting mechanism, comfortable sitting cushion, comfortable arm rest, great lumbar support, and AMAZING CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!
